Everything was brilliant. From the check-in accommodation to the staff being on-hand 24/7 to ensure everything needed was handled with care. The room was beautiful, the views stunning, and the gym, which is often a major letdown for 5* hotels, was pretty decent (tho it could use a stair master, but that's just me nitpicking). The location was great - a 15-minute walk by the bay to Jackson's Square and Peak Tram and 30 to the airport, if you're happy to get a cheap uber (or even cheaper local taxi) to the station to get the airport express. The in-house restaurants are amazing and all have a variety of delicious foods from various cuisines, catering to pretty much all dietary requirements (including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free). The bars are great, too, and the pool is just the cherry on the cake. Overall, I don't see myself staying in any other hotel whenever I am in HK. Phenomenal experience.

However, if you’re on a foodie trip, you might consider skipping this option. I highly recommend paying a little extra for a room with a harbor view—the location offers one of the best vistas. I would have given this hotel 10/10 if I could forget about the price aspect, but it's one of the costliest hotels we've ever stayed in, that's why it's 9/10.
